TAIPEI, November 6, 2009 - Zenitron Corporation (TSE: 3028) posted non-audited consolidate revenue for October 2009 of NT$2.22 billion. Meanwhile, it hit second high within recent 2 years.

October revenue was slightly down 2% from NT$2.26 billion of September, and up 29% from NT$1.73 billion from a year earlier. The combined consolidate revenue from January to October of this year totaled NT$17.69 billion, a 2% growth year-over-year. Zenitron indicated that fewer working days in October because of Golden Week began from October 1 in China, customers therefore prepared stocks in September. As a result, shipments and revenues in October were impacted to some extent.

Looking forward to Q4, Zenitron expects good performance for a traditional slow season since more consumers purchase replacement laptops with Windows 7; Japanese customers place additional orders in response to appreciating Japanese Yen and new customers join in; as well as strong demand for NAND flash and increase in touch screen IC orders starting from September.
